TopSchool Releases New APIs, Creating Easier System Integration and Expansion

Institutions Can Create and Integrate Their Own Applications at No Additional Charge

Denver, CO - February 1, 2012 - TopSchool, a leading SaaS provider of Student Lifecycle Management (SLM) solutions for higher education, has made it easier for colleges and universities to customize student data management.  TopSchool's new APIs, which were co-developed with its clients, allow institutions to simply create their own integrations and also extend functionality for third party education platforms, mobile applications and tablets.

Included with the TopSchool SLM system is TopX™, a robust set of Web services that allows for seamless integrations across educational systems.  With this release, TopSchool has extended its TopX functionality using industry standard REST based services to include APIs that allow customers to build their own components and integrate them on their own with the TopSchool system.

Additionally, TopSchool's winter release includes other enhancements to better support students from prospect to placement.  TopSchool's customers now have access to advanced Career Services functionality, including email marketing capabilities for potential employers and a streamlined job referral process so advisors can search for jobs and refer them directly to students.

Colleges and universities will also experience increased efficiencies through expanded curriculum management tools, a simpler grade book and attendance user interface, CRM functionality integration with the attendance module, and the ability to use Paypal as a gateway for online payments.
