ACT College Partners with TopSchool to Centralize Student Data Management
Denver, CO - October 15, 2010
- ACT College and TopSchool have partnered in order to drive
enrollment and improve access to data for operational and
compliance reporting. ACT College will utilize TopSchool's
Student Lifecycle Management (SLM) system across its three campuses
to more effectively manage leads, centrally access all student
information, and track prospect and student communications.
TopSchool replaces ACT's outdated solution that made lead
management cumbersome. TopSchool's system will enable the
school to respond quicker to inquiries, as well as support students
throughout their educational experience.
"TopSchool will help drive the continued growth of our school -
we'll be able to deliver a higher level of service to existing
students, as well as report on outcomes to evolve programs and meet
accreditation requirements," said Joshua Darrin, CIO of ACT
College. "We also have been impressed with ability to
integrate TopSchool's SLM system with third party
applications and are excited about the open, flexible structure,
which will enable us to take student information management to a
whole new level."
TopSchool's SLM is delivered in a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS)
model, and goes beyond the capabilities of a traditional student
information system (SIS). It provides the portal for
prospective students to learn about ACT College's programs, the
customer relationship management (CRM) system to manage prospects
through admission, the SIS to track and manage the institution's
students from enrollment through program completion, and finally, a
reporting suite to measure outcomes and improve offerings.
Additionally, the system easily integrates with other third party
applications, such as a school's LMS.
"ACT's programs are in demand, and it is important that they
have the technology and infrastructure in place to enroll students
and support them throughout the education lifecycle," said Matthew
Schnittman, CEO of TopSchool. "Our system will enable ACT to
focus first and foremost on the needs of its students, whether it
is by supporting students through the admissions process,
interacting with students to keep them on track to graduation, or
reporting on outcomes to drive the direction and relevancy of
programs."
ACT College operates three campuses in Virginia. The college was
founded in 1983 and provides programs at the diploma and
associate's degree levels in areas related to healthcare. Programs
include Medical Assisting, Medical Office Administration, Dental
Assisting, Pharmacy Technology, Allied Health Technology (AAS) and
Medical Radiography (AAS).
ACT College is an exclusive provider of Allied Health Training
for the Washington D.C. Metro Area. Its students are given
practical training through externship opportunities.
