New Features Streamline the Registration Process and Help Connect Students with Employers
Denver, CO - September 26, 2011 - TopSchool, a leading SaaS provider of Student Lifecycle
Management (SLM) solutions for higher education, has advanced
its system to help colleges and universities more effectively and
efficiently support students throughout the education and career services processes.
TopSchool's latest system release delivers more features that
enable students to navigate their academic path and connect with
job prospects following graduation.

The new registration system adds efficiencies and delivers a
more personalized student experience. Students now need to
complete fewer steps in order to build their schedule, and an
optional online shopping cart puts more self-service capabilities
in their hands, providing a one stop shop where they can easily
select and view courses, as well as pay tuition. For
colleges, the new bulk registration functionality eases the process
for registering selected groups of students in courses, and
automated processing eliminates the need to manually record dropped
and withdrawn courses.
TopSchool's career services address the needs of students,
institutions and employers so they can work together in a more
productive way. New features include:
- Job Seeker Advisement: colleges can better
manage students throughout the job search process, tracking open
positions, internships, credentials and other certifications; they
can also record placement history and salary information.
- Employer Relationship Management: TopSchool's
communication and contact management tools allow colleges to build
stronger employer relationships; they can track contacts, locations
and profiles, as well as manage opportunities.
- My Career Services: students can take
advantage of the self-service capabilities within the student
portal to create an online profile and upload a resume for
employers to review; they can also search job openings and apply as
appropriate.
- Employer Self-Service: employers can post and
manage open positions and a company profile that students can
review; they can also search and review student profiles and print
resume books in order to build a qualified pool of candidates.
Additional systems advancements have been made specific to
admissions, student finance and financial aid support as
well. TopSchool's SLM system allows schools to easily manage
and report on all student data from prospect to placement in a
