Allied Health Institute Selects TopSchool System to Centrally Manage Student Information
Denver, CO - May 5, 2010 - Allied Health
Institute (AHI) has selected the TopSchool Student Lifecycle
Management (SLM) system to more efficiently track and report on
online student information in order to better manage the
organization and plan for growth. The school is migrating
data from two separate student information systems to TopSchool,
thereby simplifying and streamlining its data management.
"As our programs continue to grow, we are dealing with more and
more important student data - neither of our cumbersome systems had
the capability to support our needs, plus we were spending far too
much time entering data twice," said Jennifer Anglin, president of
Allied Health Institute. "TopSchool takes a completely
different approach - the system is intuitive and easy to use, and
because it centrally manages data across the entire student
lifecycle, it will allow us to increase our operational
efficiencies."
Anglin continued, "We are also very impressed with TopSchool's
reporting capabilities. The system automatically pulls the
reports we need, giving us better insight into our students,
programs and results so we can more effectively grow and meet
student needs."
In addition to managing student information, AHI will be able to
increase student support services using TopSchool's SLM. The
system will help generate forms, print and send invoices, and allow
students to pay online.
TopSchool's SLM solution is delivered in a Software-as-a-Service
model, and goes beyond the capabilities of a traditional student
information system (SIS). It provides the portal for
prospective students to learn about Allied Health Institute's
programs, the customer relationship management (CRM) system to
manage prospects through admission, the SIS to track and manage the
institution's students from enrollment through program completion,
and finally, a reporting suite to measure outcomes and improve
offerings. Additionally, the system easily integrates with
other third party applications, including Allied Health's learning
management system, Blackboard Learn - ANGEL Edition.
"We are seeing a strong trend in schools simply outgrowing the
capabilities of their existing SIS, and these schools just can't
accomplish their growth objectives without a more scalable system,"
said Matthew Schnittman, president and CEO of TopSchool. "AHI
is delivering in-demand healthcare programs that are helping
students succeed professionally. It is critical that AHI has
the data management and reporting functionality at their fingertips
to help them further evolve their offerings so even more students
can benefit from these programs."
Allied Health Institute, which is accredited by the Accrediting
Bureau of Health Education Schools, offers online diploma programs
in health careers. Diploma programs include Medical
Assistant, Medical Office Assistant, Medical Coding
Specialist, Phlebotomy Technician, Home Health Aide, Massage
Therapy, and Electrocardiograph Technician. Additionally,
courses that require clinical training are completed in various
types of medical facilities by utilizing professionals such as
physicians, physician assistants, nurses, or certified/registered
medical assistants and EKG technicians.
