Emily Griffith Opportunity School Selects TopSchool to More Effectively and Efficiently Manage Student Information

Denver, CO - March 9, 2010 - TopSchool, a leading SaaS provider of Student Lifecycle Management (SLM) solutions for higher education, has been selected by Emily Griffith Opportunity School to power the institution's student information management systems. Emily Griffith, a Denver-based technical college, will leverage the TopSchool system to reach new students, enhance their educational experience, and retain students for successful program completion.

Emily Griffith, which was founded more than 90 years ago, is a public, non-profit institution serving approximately 10,000 students annually. The institution's four colleges include the College of Business and Technology, College of Design Industries, College of Health Sciences, and College of Trades and Industry that combined offer 45 study programs and 500 individual courses.

"Our flexible term structure allows students to start any time of the year and continue for varying term lengths - the complexity of our existing SIS made simple tasks like managing enrollment too cumbersome," said Ms. Lou Ann Gilhooly, interim principal. "TopSchool delivers the ultimate in flexibility, enabling us to simplify administrative processes without changing our model. The system is quick to implement, easy for our staff to learn, and well-supported by a high level of customer service, all of which minimize our IT resources."

Ms. Gilhooly continued, "Additionally, because TopSchool enables complete student information management, now we don't have to invest and add on expensive software for things like prospecting, web self-service and reporting."

TopSchool's SLM, which is delivered in a Software-as-a-Service model, goes beyond a traditional SIS. It provides the portal for prospective students to learn about the Emily Griffith Opportunity School programs, the customer relationship management (CRM) system to manage prospects through admission, and the student information system to track and manage the institution's students from enrollment through program completion.

"We are excited to be working with a local technical college to help them more effectively manage student information," said Matthew Schnittman, president and CEO of TopSchool. "The flexibility of our system enables Emily Griffith to automate tasks and adapt processes to its unique needs, eliminating the previous work-arounds staff had to create for student management. By creating greater efficiencies, the college can dedicate its resources to supporting students."
