American University of Antigua Selects TopSchool to Help Drive Significant Improvements in Academic and Administrative Outcomes

TopSchool Provides Simple, Flexible, Cost Effective Way to Deliver Outstanding Student Service

American University of Antigua (AUA) has selected TopSchool's Student Lifecycle Management (SLM) system to manage student information from initial contact with a prospect through graduation.  TopSchool's SLM will help AUA drive future growth by improving communication with prospective students, as well as drive operational efficiencies by automating processes and enabling easier data access.  TopSchool will help AUA enhance service quality to students by providing access to key performance data in order to make significant administrative and academic improvements.

"With our consistent growth in enrollment, we found we had simply outgrown our existing system. The reality of the time and expense it took to maintain our current system made it clear to us that we were ready to move up to a more powerful system and service delivery model," said Tom Gardner, vice president and CTO of AUA.

"After an exhaustive vendor search, we selected TopSchool - its leading edge technology has the robust, yet flexible functionality we need to attract, support and retain excellent students.  Additionally, the system will easily adapt to our plan for continuous improvement as student needs evolve," commented Gardner.

Gardner continued, "TopSchool's SaaS model also provides financial benefits others just couldn't match, with a much lower initial investment, faster implementation and predictable costs.  Plus, our investments in technical staff will be value added resources that will be hired to make a direct contribution to improving service delivery.  TopSchool's system architecture and infrastructure are outstanding.   It's great to be able to have our team focus on service delivery excellence while TopSchool's team concentrates on system management."

TopSchool's next generation technology goes beyond a traditional student information system.  It provides the portal for prospective students to learn about AUA, a CRM module to communicate with prospects and students, an SIS to track and manage students from enrollment through program completion, and an intelligent reporting suite to measure outcomes and improve offerings.  Additionally, the system easily integrates with other third party applications.

"We are pleased to partner with AUA as it looks to more efficiently and effectively manage its growing student population of in-demand doctors and nurses," said Matthew Schnittman.  "The University offers an innovative and unique program, and our next-generation management, communication and reporting tools provide administrative flexibility and simplicity so AUA can focus its efforts on delivering a top quality program and supporting student success."

AUA is the only hospital-integrated medical school in the Caribbean.  The University's medical education program is based on U.S. school curriculum and incorporates hospital experience beginning in the first semester.  AUA prepares its students for the U.S. Medical Licensing Examinations and NCLEX, and also provides clinical clerkship opportunities in some of the best teaching hospitals in the U.S.
